I Just Ran An Unintentional Half-Marathon

I got carried away on the treadmill and before you know it I was at the 10 mile mark, then, well ...

So I just did a half marathon this morning as I realized I had hit the 10 mile mark and figured I'd go for the last 3 point 1. BIG CAVEAT - I was in my nice, temperature-controlled Anytime Fitness Lancaster. I didn't do any inclines. And at 2:14, I averaged over 10 minute miles. But, considering I didn’t train for this at all, I’m still happy I was able to do it.
I ran in a fully fasted state (something my excess fat affords me that I totally wouldn’t recommend to my thinner friends) ... so I was legit hungry and downed bananas, oranges, a colorful salad and straight steel cut oats right after. But, other than sore feet, I’m no worse for the wear and still feel good (with a relaxed energy).
I continue to be amazed at how God is using the vegetables, fruit, and high quality carbs to transform me. By the end of the 13.1, my knees and feet were sore, but I still felt I had gas in the tank cardio wise. And I'm walking around just fine now. I still don't enjoy running and purposeful exercise in general. But, it's nice to know I've got it in me.
